Clover Creek Commons is a community project in Parkland, Washington. Located on a flood plain owned by Pierce County, the Clover Creek Restoration Alliance decided to rescue this unused space and bring it back to life by removing invasive plants, restoring native wild flowers, and planting native bushes and trees.
Although the space may flood in some winter seasons, in the summer the land is dry and often the creek is also dry. With some tender loving care, the restored property can be home to local birds and other small species. It can also host some human uses.

Volunteers are now planning the transformation. They include Clover Creek Restoration Alliance, Pierce Conservations District, Kiwanis of Parkland Spanaway, Blue Zones of Parkland Spanaway, and more will soon join our list!
