On May 24, the Noxious Weed Board will send someone out to the Commons to review the progress of the Poison Hemlock removal by Maintenance.
In their phone call they said they will check the progress and then determine a plan for followup.
In other progress, the meeting last week for the market planning included Blue Zones and Safe Streets. Blue Zones is excited to do the market planning but needs to know if they can proceed. They determined that June 1st was a reasonable date to set as a go-no-go regarding a weekly market. After that, a date for at least a one-off market for the year would be the next option.
Maintenance sprayed the Poison Hemlock on May 6. The photos here are from May 7 and from May 16. The application is killing them, for sure.
